How Southern Culinary Tours Began
Southern Culinary Tours, was originally founded in 2013 as Southern Beer Tours by Justin Hall and Jonathan Oliver. In 2020, the company acquired Flavors of Atlanta, bringing together two of the city’s most popular tour experiences. In December 2021, the company rebranded as Southern Culinary Tours, completing the pivot to a food-forward tour group. Today, Southern Culinary Tours is Atlanta’s premier guided culinary experience, showcasing everything from legendary Southern comfort food and award-winning restaurants to craft cocktails and vibrant neighborhood food walks.
Southern Culinary Tours has served numerous guests and hosted private tours from 50th birthday parties and bachelor groups to corporate tastings. Companies like Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Coca-Cola, UPS, IHG, 3M, Time Warner, Ernst & Young, The BFGoodrich Company, WestRock, Markel, MillerCoors, Xerox, and Owens Corning have coordinated events with Southern Culinary Tours.
